How working with PressGuard works

Know what we’re doing, what it costs and what happens next.

You do not need a technical brief. Tell us what your business needs and where the website is falling short. We’ll work through the options with you.

What we need from you

Your website address, priorities and someone who can approve decisions. For a build, we’ll agree who supplies the wording, photographs and business details.

We’ll explain which accounts we need access to and how to provide it securely. Please do not send passwords through the enquiry form.

  1. Start with what you need

Tell us what needs building, fixing or improving, along with your budget and any deadlines. We’ll ask questions before suggesting the work.

  2. Review what is already there

We review the relevant website, accounts or business process to understand what the job involves. Any paid investigation is agreed before it starts.

  3. Agree the work and the cost

We set out the work, price, expected schedule and anything we need from you. Anything outside that scope needs your approval before we proceed.

  4. Carry out the work and check it

We keep you updated, test the agreed work and explain what has changed. For ongoing plans, we confirm what happens next and how to request support.

Joe York Founder, PressGuard
Why I built PressGuard

PressGuard is personal to me.

I want us to become the team businesses rely on.

I’m Joe, the founder of PressGuard. I’ve spent years running businesses around websites, SEO and technology.

I kept seeing business owners paying separate companies for their website, hosting and SEO, then having to coordinate everyone. When something broke, they were left chasing answers. That never made sense to me.

I built PressGuard to bring those responsibilities together. One team that understands the business and stays involved after launch.

I want problems dealt with and useful ideas put into practice. Most importantly, I want you spending less of your working week thinking about your website.

Talk to PressGuard

Tell us what needs to change.

A new website, a problem that needs fixing or a system that would make work easier. Tell us what you have in mind. You do not need to know which service to choose.

What happens after you enquire?

We’ll read your enquiry, come back with any questions and agree the next step with you. Any paid work is agreed before it starts.

Start with three things.

  • Your website address

If you have one, send us the link. Starting from scratch is fine too.

  • What you need

Explain what you want to build, improve or hand over to us.

  • What concerns you

Tell us about faults, missed enquiries, access problems or a deadline we should know about.

No passwords needed. We’ll arrange secure access later if the work requires it.
